&#8220;Development Cooperation&#8221; of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, one of the priority areas is sectoral cooperation in the field of standardization and metrology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2021, in Georgian National Agency for Standards and Metrology of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia was successfully implemented the project &#8220;Development of a Sustainable Environment through Measurements&#8221; funded by the Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project envisages improving GEOSTM\u2019s metrological services in the field of temperature and humidity and conducting trainings \/ seminars for the staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the framework of the project, the measurement standard-&nbsp; fixed point &#8211; Melting Point of Gallium (cell and maintaining equipment) &#8211; was handed over to the Temperature and Humidity Reference Division of GEOSTM Metrology Institute, through which the State\/National etalon of&nbsp; unit of temperature will be further modernized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 28, Mr. Saulius Valainis, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to Georgia visited GEOSTM in the framework of the project.
