On April 4, 2025, the National Agency for Standards and Metrology hosted representatives from the Technical Regulation Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The purpose of the visit was to deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of standardization and metrology and to share Georgia\u2019s experience.
The leadership of the National Agency for Standards and Metrology introduced the guests to the agency’s achievements in the fields of metrology and standardization, including the integration of the principles of the WTO\u2019s TBT Agreement into the standardization process.
During the visit, the Uzbek delegation visited internationally recognized laboratories of the Metrology Institute. The guests were provided with detailed information about the technical capabilities and services of the laboratories, which the agency offers to interested parties.
This visit will significantly contribute to deepening cooperation and sharing experiences between the respective organizations of the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
